Postcards from a bygone era
I don't actually collect postcards, but I do enjoy looking at them from time to time, particularly the cards you are about to see. Each of these cards was written by someone in my family at various times over the past 100 years.My favourites are the cartoon 'Guy Fawkes' card and the 'Racket' card. Another favourite, purely for sentimental reasons, is the Christmas postcard, post dated December 24th, 1907.
I collect Toby jugs as well and when i get a moment, I'll add some pictures of those as well.
